Radon
Technihouse offers Radon testing as an add on to your home inspection or as a stand alone service. Radon is a tasteless, colorless, odorless gas and is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer in the United States. Many homes are tested for radon during the home inspection on a real estate transaction. However, if you have never had your current home tested for radon it is advisable to have a test done as there are elevated levels of radon in many parts of Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties.
Mold Testing & Inspections
Technihouse offers mold inspections, mold testing can be added onto your home inspection if we find a suspected mold substance during you home inspection. Additionally we offer mold only inspections. If you are worried that you may have mold in your current home we can provide both physical sampling and air quality sampling. We can help you to identify potential moisture sources as well as possible solutions.
Water Testing
Technihouse can perform water testing as part of your home inspection or as a standalone service. Some older homes in the Greater Detroit area still have lead service lines from the street. If a lead service line is identified on your inspection Technihouse can perform lead testing on the water for your peace of mind.
Additionally if your home is on a well Technihouse can perform water quality testing to check for dangerous bacteria, and chemicals in your drinking water. This can be scheduled at the time of booking your inspection with us.
